British Council Young Learner English Centre at International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB), Uttara Campus
We’re proud to announce the launch of the British Council Young Learner English Centre at IHSB, Uttara Campus — the first-ever partnership between the British Council and a Bangladeshi school. This British collaboration aims to empower learners aged 7–17 with strong English skills, creativity, and global confidence.

A proud partnership begins!
Collaboration between two British organizations — Stirling Education UK (the parent company of IHSB) and the British Council British Council Young Learner English Centre at International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB), Uttara Campus. The British Council has expanded its English language teaching network by partnering with International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB), the first and only school in the country to do so, marking the Council's first teaching center outside Fuller Road at IHSB's Uttara Campus.

Our Hopians proudly represented International Hope School Bangladesh at the Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2025, hosted by East West University in collaboration with UNESCO and MILNeTBD. The event featured an inspiring panel discussion on “Integration of Media and Information Literacy in Higher Education” followed by an exciting Quiz Competition, where our students showcased their brilliance and confidence! Winners: Adiva Sarker Jazib Chowdhury Azmain Taosif Ragib The day concluded with fun activities, certificates, and joyful memories — celebrating knowledge, curiosity, and achievement.

Anti-Bullying day at Uttara Junior Section
International Hope School Bangladesh Uttara Junior Section organized Anti-Bullying Week 2025, guided by this year’s theme, “Power for Good.” Our Kindergarten students engaged in a series of meaningful activities, including the drama “Upstander Superhero,” which emphasized the importance of speaking up, supporting peers, and demonstrating kindness. The Primary Section inaugurated the week with a thoughtful opening programme featuring a speech, a reflective song, and a drama performance, all highlighting the values of empathy, respect, and standing against bullying in all forms. From 11–13 November, students across various subjects will continue to explore the “Power for Good” through structured and purposeful activities, reinforcing the principles of respect, teamwork, and positive behavior.
Inter-House Football Tournament.
IHSB is once again back with its buzzing annual Inter-House Football Tournament. Each team has been preparing for weeks,promising intense competition and unforgettable moments through their strong teamwork and sportsmanship. This weekend, thrilling matches have taken place between Saurus, Direwolves, Phoenix, and Hawks in two categories, the Girls’ category & Boys (Grade: 10-12) category. In both categories, Team PHOENIX & Team SAURUS has made it to the finals. The energy on the field has been unmatched, with every house giving their absolute best. No matter which house takes the trophy, the tournament is sure to bring us all closer together as a school community.
